Hey everyone. This is a fan account for the amazing show, Barry. I really like this show and haven't found any other channel uploading clips, so I figured I would. Also wanted to mention that I am not making any money off these clips as every video is copyright claimed, so I'm just doing this for fun. Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

The ending of that scene is the best I've ever seen lol
That Thomas Friedman quote was recently disproven thanks to Russian and Ukraine war

Bill Hader in serious role, WHOA!
.... and to think, people LIKE this guy lol.... that's why serial killers are so successful, you people fall in love with psychos haha
This isnt real.
Some sad shit , mo f*cka said he didn’t want live anymore
I remember Chris Marquette from the Disney Channel back in the day

Another lesson in, "If this is that important, do not base whatever you want to say on emotion and your "feelings." Suck it up and cry later. Yet our society constantly reinforces the concept that is exactly what is most important. In this case by the time Chris gets to the words that got him killed, he has already expressed an emotional willingness to sacrifice Barry, his own family, and his own freedom--which will wreck the lives of everyone around him, so that he can feel better about himself. He is perfectly willing to sacrifice others in that quest. He could have said to himself "I made a mistake. I put myself in this position and I need to own it. Not by destroying others who did not make the decision I did--but to keep my mouth shut. If at a later time, with careful thought, if I still feel the way I do right now, I can make that decision in a way that hopefully impacts only me and no one else. But I need time. Until that moment happens--shut up." This is a common theme. Saw a news show years ago where a father was upset because he had left a firearm lying around his residence and his kid had picked it up and accidentally killed himself. So was the guy on that show to preach safety and training? To not be irresponsible like him? Nope. He was supporting a gun control law that would essentially disarm his entire town because "I want to make sure that what happened to me never happens to anyone else." That's great--but how about you isolate that feeling to just yourself. Or go on a lecture tour where "you" tell people about firearms safety and property training and storage. Oh, but that would involve "you" owning your own screwup. It's better to have people slap you on the back and congratulate you for trying to make a difference by taking a right away from people who have never left a firearm lying around for a kid to pick up. Anyway, talking about taking responsibility. Chris in this story could have said "Barry, I can't live with this--so I need you to do me a favor. I need to make sure that my family is safe and suffer no consequences for the decision I made. I want to make sure the insurance is paid up. That there is no backlash against anyone--except me. Then let's go out and you can hit me over the head with a rock. Make it look like I was robbed. That way, my "feelings" get honored, and nobody suffers--as best as I can make it--except me." But nope. "Chris would probably say "What!? No Barry. I don't want to actually die! I just need you to honor my feelings." And Barry did.
Young Dwight Schrute
People miss out that Barry got mad not because Chris said he was going to the police. It was because he lied to his wife he was going to the gym. This means his last connection with Barry, which is his wife initially thinking they were together, was gone. Barry could kill Chris and the only person who could link both of them thought Chris was going to the gym instead.
POV: You're a boeing hitman
Bill hader really played an awesome assassin
3:37 shots are Barry, Moss, Barry, Barry. The flash color in the window and sound is different for his silenced gun. He gets off first shot, she fires in response, he fires 2 more to put her down.
This sold the show for me. This show goes from over the top comedy to dark thriller in seconds
This was the moment when I realized that Bill Hader wasn't going to redeem Barry and we needed to adjust our expectations about what kind of show this was.
They weren't Chechens
Chris looks like Bob Dylan
I was part of team stolen valor 6. And that’s how I felt.
psychopaths in Hollywood promoting psychopath behavior in society and then we walk outside and actually surrounded by a bunch of white Western murderous psychopaths
"Just hear me out" - "nope"
I don't know about you, but if a hitman tells me to keep a secret, I will.
The first few times I watched this scene, I assumed when Barry asked "why'd you just say that", he was referring to Chris's final statement about going to the cops no matter what. Now though, I think Barry was talking about the lie about the gym. Barry knew Chris was likely going to crack and that killing him was the logical thing to do. Barry didn't want to do it, and so long as he had the excuse that Chris's wife would connect him, Barry could keep himself from taking that step. Now that he knows no one will connect him, Barry no longer has any excuse not to kill Barry right then and there.
Barry shows him how to kill😂
Just gonna leave all those fingerprints and shit in the car with a dead body huh…
And any life insurance policy he had for his wife and kid will be voided.
Why didn't he lay on the horn when the car appeared. Barry couldn't have shot him then. Probably would be 3 dead people then.
Haha his worst fear is that he lied to his wife about going to the gym. How does that weigh up against killing a guy (out of self defence too).
I really like this scene minus how Barry is holding the gun. Once you see it you cant unsee it
I love how he puts his hands on chris' to make it look like there was no struggle and that he shot himself but he still shot him in the forehead, an angle that makes basically no sense in terms of suicide
SONG:JOURNAL OF ARCADENCY BY CLASS ACTRESS
I never realized how dark this scene *really* was until I watched it a second time. Barry hit a roadblock, Chris wanted to come clean and he couldn't do anything, or so he thought. The moment Chris says he lied to his wife, telling her he was going to the gym, you can see Barry's expression change. That was Chris's biggest mistake. It wasn't wanting to come clean, or wanting to expose Barry's hits, but him lying to his wife about his whereabouts - because that meant Barry could kill him right then and there and no one would know where he was or who he was with. You can see Barry have this realization, you can see his disgust at himself knowing what he has to do to keep Chris quiet. He doesn't just feel disgust, he feels anger, angry that Chris had to say that, because he just took away Barry's last justification to keep him alive, and Barry doesn't *want* to do this. This is why he first asks "Why did you say that?" quietly, in a tone of dread, and then shouts it a second time. He doesn't want to kill a close friend, but he knows he has to. He has to cover his tracks. He can't be caught. Not now that his life's turned around. It's when Barry shouts that Chris realizes his mistake, you can see his face change to that of realization. He's right next to a professional hitman and intends to tell the cops about everything, and by admitting that no one knows he's with him, he's now a dead man. He just made the worst possible mistake he could've made. He tries to save himself, saying he'll keep his mouth shut, lying about what he said to his wife to give Barry a reason to keep him alive, but Barry sees right through it. Chris realized his mistake way too late, and that cost him his life at the hands of someone he considered a friend. There's so much happening in this scene than just two guys talking to each other. You can read their thoughts perfectly, you just KNOW what they're both thinking all the time and it's so perfectly written.
This was the exact moment Barry became Season 2.
OH FFS WHY NOT MAKE THE DIALOGUE UNDERSTANDABLE That trend of barely mumbled lines HAS TO GO.
Nobody writes comedic murder like an American.....
He warned her...She got what she got.
This is the most fked up shit ever. His poor wife and family are always going to wonder what drove him to ending his life.
This is the most fked up shit ever. His poor wife and family are always going to wonder what drove him to ending his life.
did anyone notice that when barrys comrades where cheering him, the beating pattern matched the exact same in the scene ryan madison in season 1 gave barry his "Barry Block" name
😂
A thing that should be more noted is how Barry was always scared of losing the little freedom he had, even tho he was barely free or living an actual life, so it must have been extra hurtful for him to realize that Chris easily rathers to "do some time" and pay for his actions instead of runing away forever and make the problem bigger like him, he simply doesnt know what it means to be a real person after killing and running away for almost all of his life
Bill hader amazing actor and writer ❤
Barry messed up. Homicide detectives know that people who shoot themselves always drop their guns.
This is exactly how the Boeing guy shot himself lol
Barry wasn’t begging for his life, he was begging for snacks.
When a silent type screams you know you fucked up
Well placed shots are just sexy
"Dude, I really didnt want to kill you. Now I have to. :("
This show can be so weirdly wholesome
